THERMAL BARCODE SETTINGS AND COMMON SETTINGS FOR BARCODE PRINTER
Barcode related issue please go through below mentioned points. Printer related check List:
1) Check printer status with test page
2) Check printer port is correct or not(On board or external port like LPT1 or LPT3)
3) Check printer mapped properly with LPT1 on DostoUSB tool(if barcode printer is USB type)
** Not recommended to use third party tool(DostoUSB) **
Check List for Barcode print setting with thermal printer : â€¢ Check "barcode lable output to"Â as thermal printer Tools=>configuration=>Device settings=>barcode printing screen configuratin=> barcode lable output to=â€laser Printerâ€
â€¢ Check barcode printer is enabled or disabled in Device settings Tools=>configuration=>Device settings=>Peripheral Settings=>â€Barcode Printer Enabledâ€=true
â€¢ Check PRN file is available at mentioned path on "lable field mapping" Tools=>configuration=>Device settings=>Thermal Barcode Print settings=> lable field mapping=>Barcode .PRN file selection=>Like D:-Program Files-RayMedi RPOS 7-BarcodePRNfiles -Default_Sticker.PRN.
â€¢ Check PRN mapping correct or not at the time of close configuration
â€¢ Check print Quantity is mapped correctly with PRN file
â€¢ Check product application path Bar.bat file created or not after mapping the PRN file
â€¢ Check product application path sticker.txt file is created or not after giving the print from barcode printing screen.
â€¢ Check sticker file print came or not by use of BAR.bat file
â€¢ Check PRN file get print in edit mode Go to Windows >> Start >> Run >>type>> edit and then enter. System will open the specified PRN file in edit pad. Now go to file menu click Print option.
â€¢ Check Sticker file get print in edit mode. Go to Windows >> Start >> Run >>type>> edit D:-Program Files-RayMedi RPOS 7sticker.txt and then enter. System will open the specified PRN file in edit pad. Now go to file menu click Print option.
â€¢ If suppose customer want to print barcode stickers from multiple machines(nodes) you have to follow this: place the .PRN file in same path for both the machines. For exmple, D:-BarcodeFiles-Default_Sticker.PRN. This file should exists in both machines.
