What is generic name in medicine & how is it used ?

Generic Name is the name of the chemical molecule used to prepare a medicine. A medicine can be manufactured with one chemical molecule or with a combination of it. The manufacturer prints the Generic Name of the Medicine alongwith the Brand Name of the Medicine. So that, while dispensing the medicine, the pharmacist can make sure whether he dispenses the right medicine
