Increase the number of connections in Oracle XE

step 1: Stop the HQ service


net stop RayMediHQ


step 2. run this query:


sqlplus system/system
ALTER SYSTEM SET statistics_level = TYPICAL Comment='Compiere' SCOPE=BOTH;
ALTER SYSTEM SET open_cursors=900 Comment='Compiere' SCOPE=BOTH;
ALTER SYSTEM SET processes=300 COMMENT='Compiere' SCOPE=SPFILE;
ALTER SYSTEM SET sessions=300 COMMENT='Compiere' SCOPE=SPFILE;
commit;

step 3: restart the oracle service

  • For Windows


net stop oracleservicexe

net start oracleservicexe


  • For Linux



sudo /etc/init.d/oracle-xe stop

sudo /etc/init.d/oracle-xe start


step 4:

change in db_config.ini


resource.maxactive=100
resource.maxidle=20



step 5:


Run the dbConfigGenerator(bat or sh) from dev_help


step 6: Start the HQ service

net start RayMediHQ
